Tips for practising Swindon test routes
- Drive each route with a qualified instructor or a supervising driver who meets the legal requirements. Never use your phone while driving.
- Set up the route before you set off, and let your passenger read the directions so you can keep your eyes on the road.
- Practise at different times of day so you meet both quiet and busy traffic.
- Do not just memorise the turns. Examiners use many routes, so focus on observation, mirrors and good judgement at every junction.

- Read the Learner’s Hub guides on roundabouts, busy junctions and the POM routine before you drive the routes.
